Good Morning Residents!
With all the hustle and bustle of this holiday season, it’s important that we continue to take precautions to keep our neighborhood safe. Following the 6 car break-ins on November 29th within the Canterberry Crossing area, there have been two occurrences of attempted car break-ins in the Hilltop North Subdivision. The occurrences both happened in the early morning hours of December 2nd and 6th. On the nights of these incidences, there had been significant snow fall so the tracks of the person were clear. It appears that the person responsible was walking from driveway to driveway checking for unlocked doors of each parked vehicle. Additionally, snow was wiped off the windows to check for items of value inside. Driveways with no vehicles parked in them were bypassed. The police were called on each occurrence and a report was filed. Residents were told by the Parker Police that unless a car was actually opened and items stolen, no crime has been committed. So, if you see any suspicious activity, please notify the Parker Police Department immediately at 303-841-9800. We must be sure to take the necessary precautions during this holiday season. Lock all vehicles parked in the driveways and along the street and make sure to remove any items of value.
